For Breed Points dogs earn 1 point for each dog defeated in the Best of Breed ring. Top Dogs and Bitches are shown separately.
To earn Terrier group points a dog earns points for
each dog defeated in the group ring. A dog winning a Group 2 would earn points
from all the dogs defeated with the exception of the breed defeating him in the group ring. No points beyond the Group are counted and Breed points were Group placements are not earned are not calculated into the total Terrier Type Group Points.
Top producers are calculated on the number of champions produced by a dog. These are compiled from the AKC Awards Books; January through December; covering the months Novermber through October.
